I am a graduating senior for 2021, and I plan to major in Pre-Medicine and become a pediatric oncologist. To be honest, I did not think that I would be able to play volleyball after high school, even though I have been a three-year starter for my varsity team. I have had three different coaches in three years, and I was never really encouraged to look for collegiate opportunities. At the end of junior year, I received All-Conference and All-South honors, and I was very excited to start being noticed my senior season. Then COVID hit, and every other recruit in the country is playing, and my high school season got postponed. I am very driven in academics and athletics, and I feel both have an important role in my college experience. I look forward to excelling in both areas in college, and I believe my hard work and motivation make me a great candidate for any volleyball team because it translates to my behavior and performance on the court. Being a part of a collegiate volleyball program has always been my dream, and I am driven to balance my athletic and academic careers in college. I am fully prepared to work hard on and off the court with teammates and coaches to improve my skills while helping my team succeed in the season.
