Lydia Wiegand '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'4'' libero from Deer Creek, IL who attends Deer Creek Mackinaw High school and will graduate in the 2018 class. I have been playing club competitively for 4 years and have been on varsity for 3 years. I have been the captain for all of my volleyball teams because of my dedication for my team and the sport I love to play. I am very vocal on the court and am always working hard to get better. I am at the top of my class with a 3.89/4.0 GPA (weighted GPA of 4.02/4) and strive to do my best in school. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to peruse a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of nursing. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on a competitive volleyball team.
