Hello! My name is Emma Pagliarella from Washington, Michigan. I'm a 5'9" Middle Hitter/Blocker, but can also play as an Outside Hitter. I'm willing to play at any position that my team needs me for. I am outgoing, energetic and competitive. It is my goal to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
I am currently a starter for the Freshman team at Romeo High School. I have been playing volleyball since the 4th grade and have played at the rec and middle school levels, as well as playing club the past two seasons. I am currently playing Middle Blocker for the 15U Elite East team for Legacy Volleyball Club in Sterling Heights, Michigan in 2021.
I am always trying to become a better athlete and striving to accomplish different goals in regards to volleyball. I love to be a team leader and always show a positive attitude on and off the court. I'm always looking for ways to cheer on my teammates and show my enthusiasm for them and our team.
Other sports that I have played include tennis and track. I ran the 70m, 100m and 800m relay in 7th grade and placed 1st or 2nd in every 70m and 100m race. I was looking forward to my 8th grade track season this past spring, but unfortunately our season was cancelled due to COVID. I plan to run track in the 2021 spring season while also playing club volleyball.
In school, I am an A/B student and am currently enrolled in two Honors classes (US History and Biology). I was recognized as an Honors student in 6th-8th grades, and also received several "Character Counts" recognition from my teachers. I am interested in studying to become a Dermatologist or Physician's Assistant and plan to go into the Health, Human and Public Service Academy at Romeo High School starting in the 10th grade.
Volleyball has had a huge impact on my life and I'm excited to continue playing in high school and hopefully in college. Thank you for viewing my profile!
