Personal Statement
Hello,
I am Rylee Collins. I am driven to play at the collegiate level for many reasons. Of course there are the basic answers like one's love for the game and being able to continue something they love doing, but I believe it goes deeper than that. I think it is dependent on how much time and effort one is willing to sacrifice for something that is such a big part of their life and I am willing to do so.
I believe I am a good candidate for a team because I am willing to go the extra mile. Nothing ever comes easy and I think some people forget that. I set myself apart from others because I have great leadership skills. For example I have led as Class President since I was a Freshmen and I carry that skill to the court. I also like to think my drive is unmatched. I know everyone has their hardships, but mine have been a bit extreme and I still overcame and bounced back stronger. I am a multi sport athelete and have particpated at a national level and have had success.
I am wanting to have an immediate impact on a team and feel a Division 2 Division 3 or NAIA school would be a great fit. I look froward to opening a dialogue to see if I may be a good fit for a team.
