Ava Fiedler '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Ava Fiedler, and I am a pin hitter and defensive specialist for class of 2026. I am from Hackettstown, NJ and attend Hackettstown High School and compete at Sideout Sports National 17-1 Artem. I am looking to play at the college level with a team that I can relate to and call home. Aside from volleyball and school, I love being involved with other activities, going to the gym, spending time with people I love, and exploring new places. I am heavily involved with my school and community with 200+ community service hours and participation in many clubs (key club, student government, peer ambassadors, unified sports, ski club, and assistant coaching the middle school volleyball team). Going to the gym in arguably my favorite part of the gym where I have not only seen growth in myself physically but also mentally. Gaining mental toughness and discipline  by showing up on days where I don't feel like it has instilled so much mental toughness and drive within myself. Of course seeing my friends and family and getting to spend time with my favorite people is always an amazing time. Lastly, I LOVE exploring new places and traveling. So many amazing opportunities I would have never come across  and so many eye opening perspectives I have gained through travel. One of my favorite new experience of exploration are coffee shops!  HUGE coffee lover!! Fun fact, I also work at a local coffee shop.  Academics are of course important, but I am a big believer in pushing yourself in many other ways outside the classroom and off the court because it is one way to shape everyone to become the best version of themselves. Self improvement and a competitive atmosphere are two qualities i'm looking for in a program to call home.
