I am Rebecca Lorton, and I am a freshman at Lacey Township High school where I started junior varsity as a middle blocker. Volleyball is something i am very passionate about, as I enjoy every challenge that comes with volleyball, and find felicity in working toward my ever advancing goals that come with my driven, dedicated, coachable personality and love for volleyball. Although I have participated in three starting school seasons, and two starting club seasons, every time I walk onto the court I work harder and harder, and push my teammates to work towards their goals as well. Being a natural born leader, I will always lend a helping hand to fellow teammates or to my coaches, as well as being elected captain of the freshman on my schools team. Ever since stepping foot on the court at 12 years old I have aspired to have the life changing opportunity to play volleyball at a collegiate level. In school, I work just hard at my academics as my volleyball, as school is very important to me. Being a freshman, my career path is undecided, although I do have a love for history and travel and contain a burning perseverance. I am proud of my constant activity in my school with my extra curricular activity and working to achieve honor roll each marking period.
