Sofia Lehman '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sofia Lehman and I am a Junior at Trinity Hall in NJ. I am currently playing indoor club for GSA (Garden State Attack) on the 17 Elite team, I am an outside hitter or setter for our team. I have been on the varsity team for my high school since freshman year and this year I was one of our team captains while playing as an outside hitter or setter. Although these are my current positions, I am very flexible when it comes to my placement on the court and I would hopefully like to strive to be a libero. My love for volleyball originally started on the beach when I was a baby because my dad is a beach player. I have been playing beach volleyball for a very long time and my dad taught me all I know about volleyball. My dream has always been to play at the college level and to always continue bettering my skills as not only a player but as a person. 

Sports have been very important to my lifestyle and they have shaped me to be the person I am today. During this past quarantine, I developed a passion for running and lifting to be able to better my abilities on the court. I am a very determined person not only on the court but in the classroom as well. I have been able to maintain a 3.97 GPA while always challenging myself in rigorous courses since I am a STUDENT-athlete. 

I hope to get to know schools better as I begin to reach out to develop a connection with the coaches and the schools. Thank you!
