Growing up with two very athletic brothers, I was always involved with sports. I practically fell in love with volleyball the day I was introduced to it by my oldest brother. Recently, I've picked up track and field. Going from volleyball, being a fully reliant team sport to Track and Field where most of my events are individually based, it was a huge change, but I always found a way to not only encourage myself to pursue both sports but to encourage my teammates. I find a certain pleasure by watching others succeed, and what is a team without team work? True teammates don't only work hard to make themselves look good, but to make each other look good and do their absolute best and strive off of that success they come upon together. I am willing to work day and night with everyone and anyone so they can be their best and do their best in every area of their lives both academically and athletically.
I love playing sports but academics always come first; I was offered to be in the National Honor Society. Although most of my free time is dedicated to sports, I always make time for studying. College is a place where I dream of expanding my knowledge on my future major , making lifetime memories and excelling in athletics.
I excelled in track and field my first season this past winter (2016) and got awarded All-League and All-County. Spring season (2016)- I also received All-League, All-County, All-Conference, and All-Division. I received All- League every year I've been on Varsity. (Since freshman year (2014-2016)
