Everyone calls me Shanahan. I started playing volleyball in the fifth grade, and played club volleyball for six years. Through hard work, I maintained a spot on my club's top team for five years. For the 2017 season I was named "Most Valuable Player"for my team and "Player of the Year" for Stingray Volleyball Academy. I played beach volleyball for the same club, earning a trip to USAV Beach Nationals in 2015 and 2017.
I am on scholarship at Independence Community College and earned the starting Libero position while maintaining a 3.67 GPA my Freshman year. My hard work and current GPA earned me a membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
My goal is to play volleyball at the next level while earning my Bachelor's degree, and to eventually become a coach and athletic trainer.
