I am a 5’6” Libero/DS from Oklahoma City, OK. I have played volleyball for my school, Heritage Hall, for the last three years. My high school team is a consistent 3A state championship contender and winner. Since my Freshman year, I played on the varsity team as Libero/DS on a deeply talented roster. Our team had a very successful season and ended the year as State runner-up. In addition, I have seven years of indoor club volleyball and two and a half years of beach volleyball experience as a player, not to mention participating in the USAVolleyball High Performance program four times, and serving as Libero/DS for the OKRVA Regional High Performance Team at both the 2018 and 2019 HP National Championships. As for academics, I maintain a 3.75 GPA. While Heritage Hall is a challenging, collegiate-preparatory program, maintaining my academic focus and a high GPA are pursuits I am compelled to continue throughout my academic career.
I am very passionate about volleyball and want to pursue it at a higher level. I hope to attend a college that not only challenges me academically, but also meets my athletic goals. In school, I am a devoted student and consistently receive good grades. I am creative and enjoy expressing myself through art and music. I have played piano since the age of four, in addition to creating and sharing my own musical compositions. Because of my interests in science and math, I hope to pursue a degree and post-graduate work in healthcare.
On the volleyball court, I am the defensive leader and a team-player who understands that each person’s role on the court is different, but playing as a team is the deciding factor between winning and losing. I have played two years on 16s teams, playing up on Oklahoma Rise 16-1 as starting libero at 15 years old. As a natural leader, full of life and humor, I provide guidance and focus on morale-building for the team. This being said, I am a hardworking and dedicated individual that always gives 100 percent. I have participated twice in the AAU National Championships, playing for Oklahoma Peak Performance (OP2) 14-2s in 2018 and Oklahoma Preimer 12-Diamonds in 2016. During my freshman year in school, I was one of two freshman starters on a team full of experienced juniors and seniors. Thanks to my hard work this season both in school and club ball, I have improved a great deal a short period of time, that allows me to play up on nationally ranked teams. I cannot wait to see how the rest of my volleyball future unfolds as additional as high school, club, high performance and collegiate opportunities arise.
