Personal Statement
My name is Isabel Patterson and I am a student-athlete at Jesuit High School in Beaverton, OR playing varsity volleyball as an outside hitter while maintaining a 4.04 GPA. I play beach volleyball under Wendy Stammer at Portland Junior Beach and Brian Chapman at North Pacific Beach. I also participate in indoor club volleyball at Athena Volleyball Academy on the 17-1 Gold team. I have played volleyball since 3rd grade and have truly found my passion for the sport. Although COVID has made training difficult, my drive has not wavered. I am willing to push myself to the highest level, working harder everyday to reach my goals. I bring positivity and energy to the court, always uplifting my teammates. I am highly competitive and push myself to perform my best on and off the court. Academics are very important to me and although I am not sure what my ultimate career path may be, I am excited to explore the different degrees that college has to offer.
