    My name is Avery Elder.  Throughout my 5 years of playing volleyball, I have learned it is a mental game. I am a rising Junior at Bluffton High School and have learned how to stay focused and productive while never failing to give my all. I strive to keep a positive attitude on and off the court. I am a hard worker as an athlete, student, and person. I stay motivated and disciplined to achieve my goals. Showing kindness to everyone and being dependable to others is important to me. Playing volleyball has granted me physical and mental strength, allowing me to be an active listener and coachable. I'm looking forward to taking the next step in my volleyball career to advance my skills and have the privilege of playing at a higher level.
