This year was my junior year and the season was successful in the idea of winning but I think that it was very successful in building us into being better people and better athletes. This was my 2nd year on varsity and I felt that I needed to step up and be a leader and that is what I did. Each game I would try to keep a good attitude even when I knew I wasn't playing my best and I think that the focus and effort I put in is what would make me a good recruit.
Even though my team did not win I learned many important values that make a good player, sacrifice, commitment, adaptability, and accountability. I'm looking for a program that is going to challenge me not only athletically but academically. I think that I have the talent to compete at the college level, not just because I think I am an amazing player but because I know I can put in the effort to play. I wouldn't say I am the "best" leader but I know that I could be a great addition to your team.
