I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old. Since I first stepped out on the field, I have strived to play at the college level. Playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I want to attend a college that pushes me on the field and in a classroom. It is my goal to pursue a college degree in architecture.
I feel it's important to be a leader in all areas of my life including school, community and my team. Maintaining a high GPA and participating in community service projects are two things I'm very passionate about. In school, I am a member of PALS (Peer Assistance, Leadership and Service). I participate in No Place For Hate activities, and school wide service projects like recycling and composting. Outside of school I serve meals on a monthly basis at Foundation Communities - a place that provides affordable housing to formerly homeless people.
I hope I become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents and coaches proud.
