Personal Statement

My name is Alexa Wheeler. I am 17 years old and a Junior at Alta High School in Sandy.  I began playing soccer at 4 years old and then transitioned to club basketball in the 4th grade. I was introduced to volleyball in 4th grade as well and played each spring season until 8th grade where I joined a club team.  I fell in love with volleyball and made he full time commitment to volleyball my freshman year of High School.  

I consistently make the honor roll while competing in volleyball, personal training, helping with my 4 younger siblings, and keeping a part-time job. I am interested in studying Psychology or Criminal Justice.
