2019 Recruiting V...Personal Statement
Ever since the first time I picked up a water polo ball at the age of 12, I have fallen in love with the sport. Collegiate water polo is a huge, life-changing opportunity that I would love to take advantage of. To play at this level is my ambition.
I have solid defensive skills, great stamina, and I am an immense team player. I am a team leader and love encouraging my fellow teammates. I am very coachable and hardworking. I push myself to be the best that I can be and know that I am going to be the most dedicated and persistent recruit an athlete you'll meet.
I strive to be a well-balanced student in the classroom as well. I put in the work to study and keep up a high GPA. Also, I love to participate in extracurriculars, and volunteer as a swim and water polo coach over the summer.
I am open to all options for water polo but ultimately want to find the best school where I can play at the highest and most competitive level. Not only am I going to apply myself in the pool but also in the classroom. I hope to make my parents proud and be a role model for my siblings and fellow peers.
