Personal Statement

I have an open heart and mind. I am willing to try to learn anything. Coaches have said I know when to flip on the serious switch and get down to business, otherwise I am fun to be around.  When I do something, I give it my all (even when it results in me throwing up mat side after literally leaving it all on the mat). 

I have ADHD and have been working with a therapist since 3rd grade. I have learned a lot of tools to help me be successful in school, sports, and everything I do.  I want to give back and become a therapist for kids like me.
