2023 Highlights Personal Statement
I'm a driven honor student-athlete and I understand the amount of hard work it's going to take to compete in the classroom and on the mat and I'm focused on excelling at both.
This wrestling season in particular has given me great optimism for future seasons. I'm very proud of how much I've been able to close the gap against high-level opponents and at high-level tournaments and matches. I feel as confident as ever that my best wrestling is in front of me.
I'm a 10-year club wrestler who played club-level baseball and football until my freshman year of high school. With the full-time focus shifted to wrestling over the last two years, the exponential level of my growth has me excited for what is to come.
