I am excited to wrestle at the college level. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. I am a perfect fit for any college program because I am hardworking, fun to be around, and expect the best from myself and other people around me. My character is different from other recruits in many ways, I am the hardest worker in the room, I am the first one there and the last to leave. I am always looking for new ways evolve as a wrestler, some examples are, asking questions, watching videos, and learning new things from my coaches and teammates. I want to be the best wrestler in the country, but at the same time I am always trying to make my teammates better. I understand that I can't be the best if I don't have people working just as hard as me. That's why as a team leader I expect the same effort as me at all times. There are many different reasons that make me different from other recruits. I am honest to myself. I know that I have a lot to learn to better myself, but I also know that I am just as good as the top wrestlers in the country. I can go out there and beat a top twenty kid in the country, but then turn around and lose to a lesser opponent. After every match I evaluate myself and go back to the room and get better at what I did good, but most importantly fix the things I did wrong. I know with the right coaching and guidance I will be a top tier wrestler at the college level. I have always been an exceptional student. I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the mat. I consistently get A's in all of my classes and expect nothing less. I will be applying for the National Honor Society next year which has been a goal of mine since I was in eighth grade in the National Junior Honor Society. My parents always tell me school before sports. That is why I make sure I do great in school so I can do what I truly love, wrestle.
