I was a four-sport athlete in HS (volleyball, basketball, track and soccer) and had multiple offers to play sports in college, but I choose to play volleyball at the University of Illinois as an OH/OPP. I received Honorable Mention Big-Ten Honors my senior year after leading the team in kills, aces and digs. We played in two NCAA National Tournaments and finished in the Top 20 nationally both times! I also was a NCAA Scholar Athlete and earned my bachelor’s in Business Administration.
I went on to coach collegiate volleyball at Olivet Nazarene University where I also earned my Master’s in Teaching. I then went on to coach at Saint Louis University and the University of Northern Colorado, as well as at numerous clubs in CO, IL, MN, FL and TN! I was named to the AVCA Thirty Under 30 Award, coached in two NAIA National Tournaments finishing in the Top 15 and in one NCAA National Tournament after winning the Big Sky Conference Title!
I enjoy yoga, hiking and cross-country skiing as well as reading, drawing and blogging in my free time. What I really enjoy about NCSA is is how we help families through the recruiting process and find that academic and athletic fit for each student-athlete! Everyone’s journey is unique and that’s what makes it so rewarding to find that perfect match!
