I was a four-year college athlete at MacMurray College where I competed in football. I helped lead the MacMurray program to back-to-back conference championships, capped off by an undefeated senior season. I was not only the captain of the team but was also named MVP and became an NCAA All- American. I received a bachelor’s degree in sports management, and I am currently a Recruiting Manager at NCSA. Playing college football instilled important attributes in me that I still use today. The most rewarding part of working at NCSA is making a difference in the lives of student-athletes and families. I enjoy working hand-in-hand with families to provide them education and guidance through the recruiting process and help them find the right college match for their student-athletes both academically and athletically.
My whole life has revolved around sports and has truly shaped the person I am today; it’s a great feeling to wake up every day and work for a company that has the same values that I do and work with colleagues who have taken similar paths in life as I have. I am also very lucky to work directly with young student athletes that are in the same shoes that I once was. Helping families like yourself understand how to be proactive throughout the recruiting process is the reason I love my job.
