Small hand load and medium stride coil the barrel behind the head. Low line drive tendencies with a flat to slightly lofted path through contact. Worked the middle of the field and the pullside during his BP round. Good first step quickness and showed the ability to maintain body control on multiple ground balls. Low line drive approach wants to use the whole field and play to the strengths. Rangy defender with quick hands and plenty of arm. Athletic enough to stretch the range at the edges. Elite runner will continue to get better. Took note of the athletic ability at the Freshman Free Showcase in August. Saw him in game in March, played with a good motor and body language. Skill set definitely improving. High follow.
