Playing basketball is something that I thought i could do forever, and this goal was mine even before I knew that everyone eventually retires. The journey of playing basketball started early in my life and collegiate basketball is the next step. I’m passionate about the sport, I watch it, talk about it, practice it, and study it to the point where it’s become a part of my identity. But my love for the game isn’t the only upside of having me on a team. I bring knockdown shooting, athleticism, defensive tenacity, court vision, and many other attributes to the table. And along with those physical traits, I am a player who gives the game everything he has, will be the smartest player on the court at all times, has great attitude, and will undoubtedly make choice that benefits the team in ways that will impact winning. There is no coach nor teammate that will tell you that they did not enjoy coaching me or playing alongside me.

Additionally, I am an exemplary student-athlete, which is demonstrated by my 5.1 GPA, National Honor Society membership, and other notable academic achievements. I am sure I will have little trouble balancing basketball and academics in college, as I have proven to be able to do it quite easily in high school.
