Personal Statement

I was a former travel baseball player until the age of 12, but once I put that golf club in my hand there was no turning back. I knew without a doubt that this was my game and would become a life long sport for me. I'm an athlete who knows the game of golf and is extremely dedicated and passionate about continuing my golf career at a highly competitive college level. I am a self taught golfer and have had 3 golf lessons since I was 12 so I am practically a blank canvas in the hands of the right golf coach and team. I know I will exceed any coach’s expectations if given the opportunity.

My most memorable accomplishment as a golfer was winning the 2021 Men’s Club Championship at my home course of Medford Lakes Country Club and winning the Carl Arena Memorial Tournament as a high school freshman, beating out over 200 high school golfers in the South Jersey area. I have been on the varsity Golf team at my high school since my freshman year. Knowing that I'm very capable of playing Golf in college makes me even more passionate about playing.

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to be able to find a college that fits me and my golf game best. It doesn't matter about the size or location, if I can receive a good education and play competitive golf I will be extremely happy.

I am the ultimate team player. I work extremely hard both on the course and in the classroom. I always try to help my teammates to get better.
