Finn Hensley '26 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! If you are looking for a mentally tough, hard working, competitive mid-distance/distance runner—look no further! I have been running competitively since sixth grade, but began taking my training more seriously in 8th grade when I started working with my coach. I have been a varsity, all-conference runner all four years of high school in both cross country and track and field. I have qualified for the state cross country championships all three years, coming in seventh this year, and have qualified for multiple events in track (1500m, 3000m, 4x800m). I have made steady improvement throughout my time in high school and I know I still have a lot of room for growth. I am the school record holder in the 1500m (previous recored held since 2012) and 3000m (previous record held since 2014). I am the Kamakea meet record holder in the 1500m and 3000m races. In May 2025, I became the Maui Interscholastic League Conference Champion in the 1500m and 3000m races, holding the conference 3000m record.  I am highly coachable, goal oriented, and willing to do whatever it takes to get better. I am currently qualified for five events in the 2025 state championship (1500m, 3000m, 800m, 4x400m, 4x800m). I have my sights set on an individual state championship and will put in the work to achieve my goals. I’d love to connect with coaches to discuss a future with your team.
