I fell in love with softball when I was eight years old. Today, as a high school sophomore, I not only love the sport but I respect how much I’ve learned from it. I am fiercely competitive and welcome being pushed out of my comfort zone. Softball has taught me how to overcome challenges and enjoy the process of learning. I’ve used that lesson in the classroom, volleyball, and everything else I do. I work hard and won’t let anything stop me from being the best softball player, student and teammate I can be.
