Personal Statement
Playing softball has been a great experience and learning tool for me over the last several years, especially as a pitcher. With this position comes pressure, criticism, commitment and sacrifice. I have learned to accept these challenges and to embrace each situation, good or bad. I have also learned to face my fears and failures and to never give up on myself or my teammates. These positive things that pitching has taught me are the same things I try to apply in my life. Through my hard work, my trust in GOD and my families support, I know I will be successful inside the circle and off the field. Being on the mound has given me the courage and confidence to say "I can do this!" Psalm 56:3
