Mattison Foster '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently an active player on the SUNY Corning Community College roster. Since the fall, I have gotten a taste of college athletics and what it all takes given the high standard that both my coach and I hold myself to. I am looking to and very interested in transferring to play and continue my schooling after completing my two years here at the NJCAA level. I am in the works to complete the Criminal Justice program here, and looking to transfer into a Pre-Law program to focus on Prosecution Law. 

I believe the best parts of my game are my abilities to adjust on the fly, picking up instruction/critique fast and well, my ability to lead, and just being an overall good teammate. Coming into CCC, I was originally recruited as a catcher, but quickly had to adjust into becoming a centerfielder after stepping on campus. Other physical aspects I bring to the game is my speed, my arm, my quick transfer from the outfield into the infield, and my consistency at the plate. As season has begun, I have served my team as the leadoff hitter and full-time centerfielder.
