Lily Voth '28 Recruiting Profile

I have always had a passion for softball.  Coming from a Jesus and sports fueled family, the competitive drive is natural to me.  I started playing softball when I was four and my love for the game only grew stronger from there.  Softball is not my entire life though.  I am a multi sport athlete and I thoroughly enjoy playing basketball as well.  I take my academics seriously which is reflected with a 4.0 GPA and consistent placement on the superintendent's honor roll.  This past year, my high school softball team even won the Oklahoma Academic State Championship in 4-A.  

I have wanted to play college softball for many years and to get there, I understand that every practice and game matters.  I strive to improve myself every day; whether that be mental or physical.  I know that the road to success is going to be challenging, but I love to work hard to accomplish my goals.  "Nothing worth having comes easy" (Theodore Roosevelt).  

I believe God has blessed me with a talent for softball.  I believe he has given me the assets needed to perform as an elite player including leadership, coach-ability, hard work, commitment, and discipline.  I also believe I am called to use softball as a platform for bringing others to him.
