Kylee Merritt '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Kylee Merritt. I am a sophomore at Pocola High School, located in Oklahoma. Softball has always been a huge part of my life. I have played softball since I was 3 years old. The purpose of this statement is to describe the desire and passion I have for softball. My dream is to play college softball at the next level. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make me a better person and softball player. As a two sport athlete with softball and basketball. I'm a leader on and off the field. I work extremely hard. I am a high energy player. I am always talking up my teammates and pitcher. On a team every single person on the field/court has to work together and has to do their job even when they are doing different things. Being apart of a team creates life long friends, teamwork, and builds character. Throughout my first two years of high school I have played in the state finals 4 times including basketball, slow-pitch twice, and fast pitch. Thank you for taking your time on reading this.
