My dad always tells the story of when I was three years old and playing catch with him. He said I was born with natural talent. So, off to Little League I went, I was the only girl on my team and was nominated to the All-Stars and won the golden glove award playing shortstop. As a freshman playing high school softball I was the first player ever to start and play every varsity game. I was Rookie of the Year. My sophomore year I was All-District. I've always loved the game the competition and pushing myself to be better. While in the field, I've learned to be a team player, a leader, an example and a friend. I've learned the value of hard work, how to win and how to get back up after a tough loss. As a student athlete I've learned time management and how to set priorities. Softball is a part of me. My goal is to play at a highest level possible. I know i am capable. I know I have something to contribute to a team. I am willing to work hard to make my dreams come true.
