Hi, my name is Addison-Jae Iannone, and my nickname is AJ. I am a 9th grader at Hickory High School in Chesapeake, VA. I've been on the field since I was three years old, playing tee-ball, then baseball, and finally landing on the softball field. Fun fact - I was terrified to make the switch from baseball to softball, but I have never looked back!
Softball has taught me many life skills, like managing my time, focusing on my goals, and setting priorities. I've also learned how to be a good friend, teammate, leader, and listener.
I can genuinely say that softball has challenged me to become a better athlete, student, and overall person. I want to continue playing softball in college and hope to become an Engineer one day.
In my free time, I like to cook and travel. And during the offseason, I enjoy playing basketball and conditioning.
