Morgan Pendleton '19 Recruiting Profile

    It has always been a dream of mine to play softball at the collegiate level.  I plan to fulfill that goal through my determination and strong work ethic.  Those characteristics are present both on the field and in the classroom.  I currently have a 4.136 weighted GPA, a score of 30 on my ACT, and hope to pursue a career in the medical field---preferably either a doctor of physical therapy or medicine.  I am looking for a school that makes me feel at home as well as offers corresponding programs that would allow me to obtain my preferred degree, and being able to do so would be a dream come true.  

    Ever since I have been able to play softball, my coaches and teammates have viewed me as a leader to my team.  I strive to make everyone around me a better player and to influence her life in a positive way.  I can promise that when I step out onto the field, whether it be practice or the state championship game, I am going to give it my all.  I have always valued my work ethic because I know that no matter how talented or skilled I am, I can always outwork someone.

    Softball has always been a great part of my life because I have been able to learn many life lessons through it.  To be able to continue to do so would be a great accomplishment in my life.  I believe I could be a key aspect to your team because of my will to not only improve my teammates, but myself as well.  My strength and confidence are found within this game, and what I have learned help me to be even more successful in my life.
