Personal Statement
My family is from Alaska, but we moved all over for my dad’s oil and gas career. One move was a 2-year stint as ex-pats in Dubai, UAE when I was 8-10 years old. Living in Dubai was an incredible experience that opened my eyes to how most of the world lives and has given me a new perspective on how truly fortunate I am. One of my goals after college graduation is to serve on a mission trip somewhere overseas.
My family got to attend the 2019 NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Championship in Gulf Shores, AL! It was an amazing experience! I am working really hard to improve my physicality and get all of the experience I can so I can compete at that level.
