My objective in this recruiting process is to be a responsible student-athlete that excels academically and athletically. My goal is to attend a four-year college and obtain an advanced degree in biology/biotech. In addition to my hard-earned technical skills on the field, I make a great teammate, as I am resilient, enthusiastic, responsible, coachable and communicate effectively with my coaches and team. I also bring a great positive attitude. My NH state ODP coach noted, "Somer's energy and positivity were a crucial part of the team dynamic and success this past season." I hope to bring the same positive attributes to my future collegiate team.

- Intense strength building and fitness/endurance training camp. The camp is 8 weeks long, 3 days a week, 2 hours a day over the summer months. Training is provided by Phil Tuttle, a former college athlete who played D1 for Notre Dame University, and then played in the MLS/USL, and his wife Kaylin Tuttle who played and later served as assistant coach for Houghton College.

- For all of the past three seasons, I have been invited to the NH ODP training pool, and then as a member of the NH ODP State team. For the past two years, I have also been invited to the East Region Pool ID camp.

- Invited to be part of the Northern New England Select Team with 14 other U15-U17 girls from Maine, NH, and Vermont. The team traveled to Italy in February of 2023 for a week of training and friendly match play with Italian teams. The ODP team's record was 3-0, with 22 GF and 1 GA.
