Hello! My name is Corinne Fernald, and I am a senior at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy in Northwood, New Hampshire. I am looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I am looking to major in biology or health sciences (on a pre-med track), and my hope is to continue to play soccer through college. Soccer has been a part of my life since I began playing when I was four years old. I have always loved the competitive nature of the game. For me, soccer is something that keeps me grounded. When I was a sophomore in high school, I tore my ACL and meniscus. Before then, I had never had to think about what life was like without soccer or even who I was without it. It was a learning experience that gave me time to reflect on how soccer impacts my life. It deepened my love and appreciation for the sport even more and has driven me to keep playing.
