My name is Brooklyn Casey and I am an academic sophomore/athletic freshman at Scottsdale Community College. I am currently a six rotation outside hitter, as well as right side hitter. My team in 2021 won our regional championship and traveled to nationals where we competed amongst the best. I am always trying to improve in all areas of my game and will do whatever it takes to be a better hitter, blocker, passer and overall teammate. I played my freshman year at Chaminade University of Honolulu, and will be in my second year here at SCC. Due to covid policies and restrictions in Hawaii, I was forced to come back home. I want to get back to the next level as soon as possible, and am eager to get my name out there to prove that’s where I belong. My coaches (please feel free to contact them) have told me that my overall character, the values and morals that I keep, and the fact that I am very coachable, are just a few qualities that set me apart from many other players. Although the sport of volleyball is important to me, as I have devoted much of my time and energy to it, I have also put countless hours of effort into my academics. I currently hold a 3.8 GPA and look forward to my next 2 years at the collegiate level. My ultimate dream is to play volleyball at the Division 1 level and be an asset to both the school and team.
Thank you for your interest,
Brooklyn Casey
