Zoe McLaughlin '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’5” setter from Medford, MA, graduating from Medford High School in 2023. I began playing volleyball in middle school in our afterschool team, continued in city- sponsored recreation camps, and most recently, participated in the summer 2019 volleyball clinic hosted at Tufts University.

This fall, I played junior varsity volleyball for Medford High School.  I have a 3.50 GPA and am currently taking Honors Biology and Honors ELA, and by taking accelerated math in middle school, I qualified to take Geometry as a freshman. I am also a member of the National Junior Honor Society. 

I am looking for a college experience where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to pursue a university with a strong academic reputation in the field of mathematics. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team, and also affords me the opportunity to grow as a player. I am keeping my options open in terms of division and location, and my choice would be driven by an academic and social fit, along with the financial package available.
