Personal Statement

My name is Alyssah McGuire. I have been playing volleyball since the 4th grade, and the second I stepped on the court I loved it. I have always had a passion for the game of volleyball. I am an advocate of hard work. My coaches and spectators around me commend me for my constant effort and my ability to keep fighting and not give up. What I am most admired for is my hustle. I rarely let a ball hit the floor without going after it first. I have strong leadership skills and a powerful, loud voice that lets people know what I say. As well as my dedication in sports, I am extremely committed to my academic life. I take Honors and AP classes, and I can tackle both challenges at once, and I continue to remain towards the top on my scholastic side.
