Hello, I'm Scott Shepherd, junior, and starter at 215 LBs for West Babylon's Varsity Wrestling Team.
I admittingly started late, wrestling my sophomore year as JV, but I learnt during the off season following that I am very coachable and hard working. Within 10 months time, I had gone from being a JV wrestler, wrestling very few matches, to wrestling in off season tournaments, and making the starting spot for my team at 215 LBs. One of my strengths is my discipline, as I was whole heartedly committed to improving my skill on that mat, and practically lived at my club during the spring, summer, and fall. I can guarantee to any coach that my discipline and attitude will match or surpass that of their collegiate athletes.
I currently wrestle for ProEx Wrestling in Islip, and have seen steady improvement working under their guidance.
I am looking to continue wrestling at the next level while pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice or Education.
