Tara Henshaw '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tara Henshaw. I started playing ice hockey at the age of 6 when my two older brothers played and i wanted to try. Academically and athletically my aspirations in the future are to learn and succeed, both in my education and in ice hockey. When it comes to learning a new subject

I try my best to capture and learn the concept of that subject and how to perform it to the best of my ability. Throughout the years of playing ice hockey I have learned what it 's like to be a team player and how to work with others to work towards a common goal. Qualities such as awareness, determination and being able to communicate on the ice has made me a stronger overall player and has helped me strive to be better as a leader on my team as well.  From being a multi sport athlete i have also developed the characteristics of never being satisfied and having a good work ethic.
