I have been interested in baseball for longer than I can remember, and I have learned many things by playing the sport all my life. However, the most impactful year for me was my freshman year of high school, when I failed to make my high school baseball team. It really helped me become more self aware, however it also made me realize that at that time I was not putting in enough work and that I would have to train far harder in the coming years. My training has since greatly improved, and I made more progress my sophomore than I ever had before.
In addition to baseball, I also play the violin, and I play for the school chess team, which competed at state with only one upper classman last year. I am looking for a collage that will not only fit my athletic ability, but will also challenge me academically.
