I started playing waterpolo in 8th grade, and instantly fell in love with the sport. I was selected to play on my high school varsity team as a freshman and sophomore. All the hard work I have put in has paid off because I was chosen by the USA Waterpolo ODP program to play on the Regional & National Tournament Teams for the Midwest Zone for the last two years.
It has been my dream to play waterpolo at the collegiate level. Some valuable traits that I could bring to a team are my exceptional work ethic, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt/learn quickly. I always strive to be the best that I can be, and I try to push my teammates towards their goals as well. During the off-season, I work out and swim on my own time to try to improve. Also, over the years, I have been fortunate to attend several camps to learn from some of the best players in the game. My work ethic in the pool is mirrored by my dedication to academics in the classroom. I have consistently been on the high honor roll at my high school and was named an Academic All American by USA Waterpolo and a Scholar Athlete by American Waterpolo. I was recently invited to USA Water Polo' s National Team Selection Camp and awarded All Conference & 2nd Team All Sectional Honors.
In addition to playing waterpolo in college, I want to major in computer science. I am interested in video game design, three dimensional modeling, and coding. I am looking for a school / team that will challenge me both in the classroom and in the pool.
