Joseph Vollmer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joe Vollmer, and I am currently a senior at Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox Illinois. I have been competing in track and field since my freshmen year. Over that time I have dedicated many hours towards training and learning as much as I could in the horizontal jumps. Even though I still have room to grow, I have worked hard to become a varsity level athlete. I have even been fortunate to be a member of a conference-winning track team as well as a team captain. Currently, I am looking to be a collegiate level athlete as well as forwarding my education. I hope to become a competitive addition for college teams as I work to improve my jumps. I am currently involved in the nationally recognized leadership program LINK Crew, as well as helping with the school mascots. I am also in multiple AP level classes along with being in National Honors Society. I would be a good candidate because I am determined to improve both athletically, and academically, as I look to become a student athlete.
