Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing volleyball, it has had a huge impact on my life. I have learned so many things about myself through this sport - teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence and trust. Each season (school or club) my teammates become my family, and the court becomes my home. I started playing volleyball in my seventh grade year. After trying many other sports, I finally found the perfect one for me. One thing this sport has taught me is that I will make mistakes, but I will learn and get better. I am willing to play any hitting position and have experience in all three. I can also play D.S. when/if needed and I’m a great server.
Although I love volleyball, I also enjoy doing other extra curricular activities as well. I really enjoy hunting, fishing, and being outside. My mindset for anything is to never give up and that I can achieve any goal I set for myself. I am one of the most cheerful people you will ever meet. I am always full of energy, and if one of my teammates gets down, I will be there to pick her right back up. I'm super encouraging and have a great attitude.
