My name is Mitchell Horowitz. I have good sense of humor and can make almost anyone smile or laugh, but I do know the right time and place for the corresponding behavior. I can be very serious when I have to be like on the mound or in the classroom. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old and it is my one and only sport. I am a very good natured kid that will do anything I am asked to do with no problem. I promise to work my hardest at all times. I show good leadership on and off the fields always playing my heart out and trying my best. I have always been and will remain a humble player staying to myself about my abilities. I know im not even close to perfect or even great and am always trying to find a way to improve my baseball or even more specifically my pitching skills. I am a right handed pitcher at 6 ft weighing 180 lbs. I throw between 82and 85 miles per hour with a circle change up and a rather good curveball. I also can throw all the three pitches from sidearm. I can give a team my hardest work and a leader. I have been chosen to break huddles and show examples of drills and plays to teamates. I am very coachable and I take everything I can from each coach I have or will play with. On the mound a coach can expect me to pitch every ounce of energy I have in me. I am good in clutch situations and never show bad body language, people have told me that I look emotionless in any situation on the mound and I don't get rattled easily, as well as I am good at forgetting plays or mistakes and moving on. I a attend the The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida. As for a college that I would like to attend, I want go somewhere that offers good academic as well as athletic performace where I can continue to be the student athlete I am. I am looking forward to the best opportunity that is presented to me with keeping all options open. I feel that I would be an asset anywhere I am.
