October 2013Personal Statement
I’m a 6'0", 170 lbs (and still growing) shortstop from Dudley, Massachusetts. I am entering my senior high school season where I am the starting shortstop and captain of the varsity baseball team. This summer, I will be playing for a U18 showcase travel baseball team. The events that we will be participating in will be placed into my profile. My style of leadership is being the first player on the field and the last to leave. I also keep a positive attitude on the field and always there to pick my teammate up.
I’m uncommitted and open to attend any college where I can be challenged both on the baseball diamond and the classroom. For the right combination, I would be willing to go anywhere in the US. I would love to go to a college where I could make an immediate impact on the team, but I am realistic enough to realize that one needs to work hard to make that impact and it might not come right away.
