Personal Statement
I have played club/select baseball since I was 9 years old. It has always been a goal of mine to play baseball in college. I have committed to baseball year round by playing for my high school in the spring, travel/club team in the summer, and Elite baseball in the Fall. I have a catching, pitching, and hitting coach I work with twice per week each in the off season. All three instructors are the most sought after instructors in the Nebraska market. I have been working with them for 5+ years. I condition both with weights and speed/agility trainers as well. I do this to prepare myself athletically and create the opportunity to play baseball at the highest level in college.
I am a committed baseball player at every level. I am an a good defensive, instinctive catcher, great contact hitter (I rarely strikeout), hard worker, and leader on the field.
This summer I was named to the WWBA East Cobb All Tournament Team. I was selected to participate in the 2012 (17U) National Team Identification Series (NTIS) as a member of the Nebraska Team with Coach Shaun Buchanan and Missouri Team with Coach Matt Whiteside where I put up some of the events highest scores. I ultimately represented Nebraska at the Regional Event in St. Louis.
