My parents divorced in 2009 which was a trying year as a freshman in high school. I re-grouped in 2010 after taking responsibility for myself, transferred to Potomac High School to enroll into NJROTC, made the varsity baseball team, began learning how to pitch (was a 1st baseman/outfielder), enrolled in the Navy ROTC, Cambridge academic program, Key Club, and most importantly improved my GAP from a 2.8 in my freshman year to 3.76 in my sophomore year and a 3.78 as a junior.
I have established a free baseball charity called For the Love of the Game which provides free baseball camps for area youth. I have held two successful camps for over 40 players and have a third scheduled for October 2012.
I am currently an official candidate at the USMA, USNA, USMMA, and USCGA. I am also applying to the ROTC Army, Navy, and Air Force schlaorship programs and will likely become a military officer upon graducation from college. I hope to play college baseball and working hard to accomplih my goals both on and off the ball field. I am currently in JROTC and am an officer mentoring the underclassmen. I am also a Captain on my varsity baseball team and understand the importance of leadership as well as followship when it comes to be both a good teammate as well as a coachable ball player.
I fish, camp, and hunt when I'm not on a baseball field.
Thank you for your interst in me as a student/athlete.
