Garrett FitzGerald '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Garrett FitzGerald and I play for Catholic Memorial High school. I am six foot five inches and weigh three hundred and ten pounds. My lowest forty yard dash was a 5.7 at the University of Rhode Island's prospect day. I was elected one of four captains for the 2009 season. I was on named to the Preseason All Boston Herald football team. I was also name to first team all HSS Insight which is a local website that covers football for the entire state of Massachusetts. I was also preseason top tn linemen in eastern Massachusetts. I am usually the last to leave the practice field. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to play college football. I didn't start playing until seventh grade because I was always too big to play pop warner. I go to school at Catholic Memorial High school in West Roxbury Massachusetts. I have been going there since seventh grade. It is the closest school in the area and the best in that area. I am open to any type of school. I prefer a school either in a suburb of a city or rural. I am hoping to play in Division 1, but I am open to playing other levels. I plan to apply to financial aid to whatever school I choose to go to. I have been thinking I would like to major in either Business or Political Science. My athletic goals are to have some type of impact on campus as a freshman, and start as a sophomore.
